Biosketch: William J. Knowles, Ph.D.
Bill has twenty-four years of experience in the diagnostic, biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Bill held research and management positions including V.P., Director of Research at The Institute for Diabetes Discovery; Section Head and Research Fellow at Bayer Pharmaceuticals; and Principal Staff Scientist at Molecular Diagnostics. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Tulane University, a Ph.D. degree from the University of Iowa and was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Pathology at Yale University specializing in protein structure and function.
